The Sage Eucalyptus Stem — Samsung Frame TV art, 3840 × 2160
How large can I print it?

The file is around 9,000 px on the long edge. That prints crisply to about 75 cm on the long edge at gallery quality, and to 130–170 cm at the distance you look at a picture over furniture. Sizes, paper and framing, in detail →

Which paper or surface?

Gold on dark grounds wants a matte or satin fine-art paper (200–310 gsm), or aluminium for humid rooms; glossy photo paper turns the black into a mirror. The pale works also take satin and baryta papers.

Which licence do I need?

Personal (€9.99) covers your own home and gifts. Any business or space open to the public — a spa, clinic, hotel, office, restaurant — needs the commercial licence (€99.99, one venue, no renewal). The venue guide →

About this work

One stem, about eight round leaves, and a wall. The eucalyptus rises from the bottom centre in a slight curve, branching once or twice into short side shoots. Each leaf is a muted sage green with a velvety surface and fine veins, and their edges catch a faint golden light, as if a low sun were shining from the left. To the right of the stem a soft, blurred shadow falls on the wall, which is a warm, plain beige with a subtle plaster texture. Nothing else is in the picture. Because the subject is so simple, small details matter: the way two leaves overlap, the thin reddish stem, the gentle gradient of light across the wall.

Showing a single stem instead of a full bouquet is a principle shared by Japanese flower arranging and Scandinavian design. In ikebana the arranger removes far more than they keep, so one branch can express a whole season. Nordic interiors follow a similar instinct: one good object instead of many average ones. Eucalyptus suits that approach well because its leaves are graphic on their own, round and evenly spaced like notes on a stave. This is the most minimal piece in the collection, with gold reduced to a glow on the leaf edges, which makes it an easy companion for brighter, gold-heavy works or a calm statement on its own.

It is a perfect small piece for a bathroom, an entrance or the wall beside a bed, and it scales up well for a large, minimal statement. Beige, cream, greige and sage walls continue its palette. Choose a slim oak or white frame and keep the mat wide. Pair it with Eucalyptus in Gold and Sage for a green duo, or with Eucalyptus in Gold Leaf for more shine. The file prints crisply up to approximately 91 cm on the long edge at 300 dpi.
