These fifteen pieces are the same geometry I print, in motion — animated paintings rather than videos. Each is a seamless loop, silent, eight to eleven seconds long, delivered in 4K and Full HD, and made to be left running: as TV art on a Samsung Frame TV or any 4K television, as a calming screensaver on a computer or projector, or as living wall art on the screens of a hotel, spa, restaurant or shop. The Sovereign Silhouette

Gold falls through a radiating field and draws itself into one form. The silhouette at the centre is the space the spiral leaves behind — the part of the golden ratio you cannot draw, only surround. Eight seconds, seamless, silent.

I Am Pure

Molten gold gathers, scatters into sparks, and settles into a nautilus. The nautilus is the most honest illustration of the Fibonacci sequence in nature: each chamber the sum of the two before it, the animal growing larger without ever changing shape.

Crystalline Silk Nautilus

Teal and gold tesserae falling into a spiral. Where the other two loops are liquid, this one is built — a mosaic assembling itself along the golden ratio, closer to architecture than to water.

Questions about animated art for screens

Does animated art work on a Samsung Frame TV?

Yes, with one honest caveat. The Frame’s Art Mode shows still images only, so the loop is played as a video: from a USB stick with “repeat” switched on, from a media app (Plex, Infuse, VLC on Apple TV or Android TV) or from a laptop over HDMI. Because the loop is seamless, it runs for hours without a visible cut. If you want the piece in Art Mode too, the still print of the same work is in the works.

Is it really seamless?

Yes. Each loop ends on the frame it began with, so a TV set to repeat plays it without a jump or a black flash. The previews on this page are reduced in size and quality; the files you receive are the 4K masters.

What format and resolution do I get?

MP4 (H.264, 30 fps, silent) in 4K — 2160×3840 for the portrait loops, 3840×2000 for the landscape piece — plus a Full HD version of each for older screens and small digital frames. Files are 50–120 MB per loop.

Can I use a loop as a screensaver on my computer or as a lock screen?

With the home licence, yes: macOS and Windows both take a video as a screensaver through free apps, and most digital art frames accept MP4 over Wi-Fi or USB.

What is the difference between the home licence and the venue licence?

The home licence (€55) covers your own screens, private use. The venue licence (€377) covers public display in one business location — every screen in that lobby, restaurant, spa or shop — with the venue named on the certificate, for as long as the business stands. Neither allows resale, redistribution or use as stock footage; the full terms.

Do I get a licence certificate?

Always — personal and commercial. A PDF naming the work, the licensee, the date, the licence terms and a verification code, attached to the order e-mail and available on the download page. Venues keep it in their files; homes keep it with the file.

How is it delivered, and can I return it?

Instantly by e-mail after payment: download links valid for 30 days, the certificate attached. As with all digital files, a download cannot be returned once opened — but if a file is faulty or not what the page describes, write to me and I will replace or refund it. Returns.

Can I have a loop made for my screen?

Yes. A bespoke piece cut to your screen’s size and orientation and your palette starts at €2,584 — write to me with the screen and the room.

Where these came from

Every loop here began as a still piece. Those are in the works — 134 of them, built on the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence, printable at any size.
