The spiral, left running.

A Fibonacci spiral is not a shape. It is a set of instructions for growth — every turn built from the two turns before it. Drawn on paper it holds still. Left running, it shows you what it actually is: a process that never arrives.

These three pieces are the same geometry I print, in motion. Each one is a seamless loop, silent, eight seconds long, made to be watched rather than glanced at. If you have ever stood in front of a still print and felt it wanting to move, this is where it was going.

The Sovereign Silhouette

Gold falls through a radiating field and draws itself into one form. The silhouette at the centre is the space the spiral leaves behind — the part of the golden ratio you cannot draw, only surround. Eight seconds, seamless, silent.

I Am Pure

Molten gold gathers, scatters into sparks, and settles into a nautilus. The nautilus is the most honest illustration of the Fibonacci sequence in nature: each chamber the sum of the two before it, the animal growing larger without ever changing shape.

Teal and gold tesserae falling into a spiral. Where the other two loops are liquid, this one is built — a mosaic assembling itself along the golden ratio, closer to architecture than to water.

Where these came from

Every loop here began as a still piece. Those are in the works — 134 of them, built on the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence, printable at any size.
